Stream Series: Women’s Fly Fishing

Enjoy the company of other women as you learn the basics of fly fishing in this two hour workshop.  Hands on activities and discussions will cover casting, rigging & knots, fly and gear selection, and wading. Our instructors will provide all of the necessary equipment to get you started in this fantastic sport, but feel free to bring your own rod & reel.

A fishing license is required, not included.  Purchase locally at Hosterman and Stover Hardware in Millheim, or online at PA Fish & Boat.  Instruction and casting practice will take place on-land, with an opportunity for on-water strategy, so if you have access to waders bring them, otherwise wear shoes that can get wet.
