Stream Series: Fly Tying and Stream Entomology

June 21 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Learn the basics of fly tying and anglers’ insect identification in this two-hour workshop. After a fly tying demonstration, you’ll have the opportunity for fly tying practice and instruction, followed by a brief lecture on aquatic insects and a short stream walk.

If you have access to a vise and tying materials, bring them; we will have some to share. Wear water shoes for the in-stream portion of this workshop. Registration is required, so reserve your spot today!

Appalachian Fishing Guides offers guided fishing experiences, instruction, and coaching to all levels of anglers and outdoor enthusiasts across central Pennsylvania. AFG’s vision is to redefine the guided fishing experience by fostering friendship, fun, and acceptance on the water. With a decade of experience in fly fishing and outfitting, prepare yourself for an engaging session of fun, learning, and expansion of your fly fishing experience.
