Join Penns Valley Conservation Association and Peace of Paradise Properties, LLC on Saturday, March 12th* for a dark sky stargazing party.
NEW DATE! --> Tuesday March 12
All ages welcome at this FREE event to learn about constellations and our winter night sky. Dr. Larry Ramsey, PSU Professor Emeritus of Astronomy and Astrophysics, will join us to give a brief introduction to the night sky, to help locate and view stars and planets of interest, and to answer questions.
Sunset is around 7:15 PM; astronomical twilight is around 8:15 PM. Participants are welcome anytime after 6:30 PM to settle in before dark. Bring a blanket or chairs and a flashlight/headlamp; telescopes welcome. Parking at Winkelblech Fields will be at the top of the hill in the top field (follow the signs).
We hope to see all the Valley night owls!
