Stream Series: Fly Fishing for Kids

Kids 8-15 can learn the basics of fly fishing in this hands-on workshop.  We’ll cover casting, rigging, and gear in a way that’s fun and accessible.  Our instructors will provide all of the necessary equipment to get our young friends started in this lifelong sport but feel free to bring your own rod & reel.

For anglers 16 and over, a fishing license is required, not included.  Purchase locally at Hosterman and Stover Hardware in Millheim, or online at PA Fish & Boat. Instruction and casting practice will take place on-land, with an opportunity for on-water strategy, so close-toed water shoes and a change of clothes are recommended.
