Centre Gives & Taproom Takeover

It’s the 15th annual Centre Gives—a 36-hour event where your donations to local nonprofits go further. All gifts to benefit PVCA should be made through the Centre Gives website from Wednesday, May 6, at 8 am through Thursday, May 7, at 8 pm.

The annual Taproom Takeover – held at Elk Creek Cafe – will be from 5-6 pm on May 6th to match up with the “Alive at 5” power hour, and a chance for PVCA to win additional prizes. Join us at the Elk Creek Cafe for fun, friends, and laughs during Centre Gives as we try again to win a Power Hour prize for PVCA! Grab a drink, make a donation (or two), and visit with the PVCA crew during this fun event.

During the “Alive at 5” Power Hour: In person or from home, between 5-6 pm

The organization with the most number of donations during that hour wins an extra prize!

Please help PVCA by making a donation online through Centre Gives during this time – either from home or in person at the event! (In person is more fun!)

NEW THIS YEAR:

“Tearoom” Takeover: Wed May 6th from 5-7 pm at the new PVCA Office

The community is invited to come down the sidewalk to the “Tearoom Takeover” and have tea and snacks at the new PVCA office on East Main Street in Millheim, beside the Meandering Mallard. From 5-7 pm, volunteers will be there with a selection of delicious teas and show you around the new office and classroom space.

Our “Front Door” on Main Street is the first time PVCA has had a home base to open and share programs and outreach with the community. Learn about workshops, the book club, visit the Nature Journal corner, enjoy delicious teas, and visit with the PVCA volunteers – while also taking a moment to make a quick donation during the 5-6 Power Hour to help PVCA win an additional prize. So much fun, we’ll see you there!
