The Story To Date

PVCA is a membership based watershed association located about 30 miles east of Penn State University in the geological Ridge and Valley Region of Central Pennsylvania. We are a placed-based 501(c)3 non-profit focused on the preservation and restoration of our waterways, forests, farmlands, and culture in a manner that builds the local economy and our connections with each other.

PVCA has been a successful organization since 1993 due in large part to an active core of volunteers who are committed to improving the quality of life in the Penns Valley Region through clean water as the strong backbone to our healthy local economy. PVCA is organized into Committees, and this is where almost all of our planning and project implementation occurs.

These Committees are listed on the left. We encourage you to explore these tabs and consider joining PVCA on one of the following committees: Watershed Committee, Environmental Education Committee, Slow Money Committee, Community Outreach Committee, and Membership Committee.
